In 2021, Jean Louw and Louw Steenkamp watched farmers lose sleepless nights to theft anxiety, R30,000 to CCMA disputes, and 10+ hours per week to manual record-keeping. Not abstractly—we lived it.
Jean, with his background in electronic engineering and global tech experience, saw the technology gap. Louw, a labour lawyer with deep agricultural roots, understood the compliance nightmare. Together, they spent the next 4 years in the fields, testing ideas with real farmers, learning what actually works.
